We started out slow on our second day in Chicago after a fantastic breakfast in "Yolk," filling up on eggs benedict and banana pancakes, that left us full and ready to explore! We started our trek through the city at Shedd Aquarium, where we pet starfish, named belugas, and experienced the "Monsters of the Sea" in 4D. From there we all branched off, leaving the six of us pictured to travel through Millennium Park to find the Bean! We recharged on acai bowls, soft pretzels, and Starbucks before we explored Chicago's American Girl Doll store and sampled Ghirardelli chocolates. We decided to spend our downtime 94 floors and 318 feet above the ground in 360 Chicago as we got a much clearer view of the breathtaking city that we had gotten a taste of last night on the Willis Tower sky-deck! We finished our sight-seeing off with a quick tour of the Art Institute of Chicago. We ran through the building, scanning each ornate wall of the three beautiful floors in less than forty-five minutes! We ended our day with a wonderfully extensive dinner at Pizzeria Due, letting many of us have our first taste of deep-dish pizza. Looking forward to an exciting, and early, first day at Lindblom tomorrow!
