Join us for the 2024 Women in Leadership Conference at the University of Michigan!​

WIL is an annual conference intended to help participants find community and build the confidence and professional skills needed to be successful in any leadership role. We hope to encourage women to excel as leaders and to promote an inclusive community across the University of Michigan and beyond.

The conference will consist of an opening keynote, given by Kathryn Elliott, a defense sector manager at Rolls Royce and SWE at U-M alum. After lunch, there will be ten-minute mentoring sessions where students will have the opportunity to get advice from mentors one-on-one about career planning and resume review, as well as a Design Challenge to win gift cards from our sponsors! There will also be workshop sessions on topics ranging from DEI case studies to the journey to a PhD. The conference will close with a panel of professional female leaders. Attendees can expect to leave inspired, having learned many important lessons about navigating the professional world.

The Women in Leadership Conference will take place on Saturday, March 23rd from 11:00am - 3:30pm EST in the Michigan Union. The dress code is casual.

There is a $5 deposit for registration to cover the costs of no-shows, but it is refunded as you check into the conference!
