Charity Rose Sale
The Society of Women Engineers is partnering with Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Michigan Business Women to put on its annual Charity Rose Sale benefitting SafeHouse, a local non-profit whose mission is to provide safety, support, advocacy, and resources for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence and their children. Anyone can order red roses and pre-packaged chocolates for pick-up or delivery within 3 miles of the University of Michigan Central Campus on Valentine’s Day weekend. If you do not want to have any flowers delivered but still want to support SafeHouse, you can purchase red roses to be donated to SafeHouse in honor of sexual assault and domestic violence survivors, or make a direct monetary donation.
Pre-Sale Tables - you can make purchases at these tables before the roses arrive (venmo, cash, or check)
● Tuesday, 2/7 10 am to 4 pm - Ross and Dude Connector
● Wednesday, 2/8 10 am to 4 pm - Ross and Dude Connector
Pick-up Tales - pick up your orders or make day of purchases (venmo, cash, or check)
● Thursday, 2/9 10 am to 4 pm - Dude Connector
● Friday, 2/10 10 am to 4 pm - Chem Building
● Monday, 2/13 10 am to 4 pm - Chem Building and Dude Connector
Delivery - have your order delivered. To qualify for delivery, you must be within 3 miles of the Diag and have ordered before Friday, 2/10 at 4 pm.
You can purchase bouquets of a dozen red roses, single red roses either wrapped or unwrapped, and pre-packaged Lindor assorted chocolates. You may order as many as you wish!
