Career Fair

The SWE/TBP Career Fair is held in September is currently the largest career fair at the University of Michigan. It is not affiliated with our section's Corporate and Alumni Relations Committee, rather the Society of Women Engineers and Tau Beta Pi co-host the fair as one committee separate from either organization.

The Career Fair started in 1986 as a collaboration between the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Tau Beta Pi (TBP), the National Engineering Honor Society, and had only 19 companies attend that first year. Since then, the Fair have grown to become one of the largest student-run engineering career fairs in the nation with nearly 350 companies in attendance. It is the only Career Fair held in the fall at the University of Michigan College of Engineering with a 34-year tradition connecting talented U-M engineering students with top employers from around the world.

If you like to find out more about the SWE/TBP Career Fair, you can visit https://www.umcareerfair.org.

Note: The Winter Engineering Career Fair at University of Michigan is run by the Engineering Career Resource Center, not SWE or TBP.
