Elementary Engineering Exploration Day

Date: November 16th, 2025

Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Are you and your child interested in learning more about the field of engineering while participating in fun, new activities? EEE Day is a wonderful opportunity for your child to have a hands-on, interactive engineering experience! Engineering is all about collaboration, so feel free to sign up with all your friends! Activity leaders will guide participants through the activities. All activities can be completed with limited adult supervision, and our EEE Day team will be there to provide additional help throughout all of the activities! The Society of Women Engineers strives to teach elementary school students that engineering can be a fun and creative career.

Who: Elementary Students (Grades K-5). The event is co-ed, and parents are welcome to join (separate activities for parents may occur, see registration form).

Where: EEE Day will be held in-person on University of Michigan's North Campus (more details provided upon registration).

Why: We strive to cultivate an exciting atmosphere for children to work together on engaging engineering tasks to inspire a passion for engineering. Engineering is more than just the technical stuff. It develops creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills which are all important skills that are used on a daily basis.
