Through these learnings and programs, I've gained insights into the successful implementation of sustainable solutions - fueling my goal of improving the lives of people through the betterment of the planet. Beyond understanding the linkages between engineering, policy, business, and research to improve the earth, my passion for the environment and connecting with others drives my extracurricular focuses as well. I love playing intramural soccer, ski instructing, trying new restaurants with friends, exploring the Midwest and Great Lakes, and playing euchre with my family. After graduating this upcoming Spring, I hope to continue learning about environmental solutions, specifically in the space of energy, and pursue a career focused on the identification, formulation, and application of such solutions. Her research area is theoretical computer science. She obtained her PhD from MIT advised by Virginia Vassilevska Williams. She holds a Masters from Stanford University and a B.S. from Harvey Mudd College. Prior to joining University of Michigan, she was a postdoctoral researcher at DIMACS at Rutgers University and at the Simons Institute at UC Berkeley.
